Hera Wins Prestigious New Contract

Posted on 19 August 2015

In June of this year, hera received a telephone call from the Chairman of a development in Ingrave, 82 units on an estate located near a golf course. Off I went and duly met up with the Chairperson and his co-directors and all I could say was…WOW!

The estate wasn’t a new build or in fact anything like I had imagined, it was full of elegance and oozed character from the second I stepped onto site. The property is a Georgian period build set in a 600 acre medieval deer park, now known as thorndon Park. Those with smaller children may have had a wander around the park in search of the infamous Gruffalo!

So we wandered around the grounds and I was simply astounded. Each time I thought we had finished there was another little corner of the estate housing some fabulous cottages or hanging gardens of sorts! They advised how they felt their current managing agents had let them down and that the new agents needed to prove their worth, as they simply did not want to jump into a relationship with another agent who again, could not deliver; especially from an accounting point of view.

We delivered our proposal and we are delighted to say that we have now been instructed to manage the beautiful Thorndon Hall.
