Mercury Land Holdings Limited works in partnership with Hera Management Services Limited to bring high quality PRS homes to Havering
Mercury Land Holdings Limited (“Mercury”) are delighted to announce that they have instructed Hera Management Services Limited to provide property management services for Mercury’s new private rental properties at Oldchurch Park, Romford.
Mercury is a new housing company wholly owned by Havering Council that aims to provide private rental homes for young people and families in the Havering borough through an ambitious development programme which will deliver more high-quality homes for market rent and some sale. With a mission to deliver well-located and well-managed private rental accommodation, Mercury has appointed Hera Management Services because of its ethical approach to property management.
Mercury’s purchase of the final phase of Swan Housing’s award winning regeneration of Oldchurch Park, Romford, represents its first property acquisition. Mercury have chosen Oldchurch Park because of its central location in Romford, its proximity to local amenities and excellent transport links, which make it an attractive proposition for younger people and families.
Tom Dobrashian Company Director for Mercury Land Holdings Ltd commented:
"This is an exciting first project for Mercury Land Holdings and we are delighted to be able to bring this high-quality accommodation to the private rental sector in Havering. We hope that this will be the first of many such projects which will go a long way to provide much needed, quality new homes to the borough and particularly enable the younger people and families in our borough to access a new home. We are looking forward to working with Hera Management Services on this and future projects across Havering.”
Joanne Cox, Managing Director, Hera Management Services Limited commented:
“We are delighted to be working with Mercury Land Holdings to manage their new private rental sector properties at Oldchurch Park. We pride ourselves on our relationships with our partners and are already providing property management services in other parts of London, so are well equipped to support Mercury with their ambitious plan to make high-quality private rented homes available to local people. Hera is a member of both ARMA and ARLA and strives to bring an ethical approach to property management services."
Phase 4 of Oldchurch Park will see Mercury offering 65 new homes for rent comprising 1, 2 and 3 bedroom homes. Tenants will be offered a long-term lease, two hours of handyman support when they move in and free internet access. Housing need in Havering is acute with many thousands of homes needed over the coming years and Mercury is committed to helping bring much needed new homes to the borough.
